Silicon Valley Cybersecurity Institute (SVCSI), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, aims to investigate, develop, and promote technical excellence and the best security practices for dependable and secure systems and applications. With industry partners, we leverage our local communities, including high schools, colleges, and universities, in designing various cybersecurity activities for future cybersecurity workforce development. In particular, our center focuses on underrepresented groups, called UNiSEC, to increase their interest in cybersecurity as a career. Based on the NSF definition, The UNderrepresented groups in cyberSECurity (UNiSEC) include and are not limited to women, persons with disabilities, and minority groups.

To achieve DEI (diversity, equality, Inclusion) in cybersecurity, we collaborate with various sectors to advise underrepresented groups. Our mission aims to support underrepresented people through collaborating with various cybersecurity communities.
The Silicon Valley Cybersecurity Institute (SVCSI) is a virtual centralized hub where industry, governments, and universities collaborate with each other to address cybersecurity challenges together and to support UNiSEC groups for future cybersecurity workforce.
We develop and research real-world cybersecurity solutions with UNiSEC groups. We help our intelligence by equipping them with hands-on cybersecurity skills.
