About our Speaker: Venkat Pullela
Venkat Pullela is a Distinguished Engineer in the Switch Architecture team at Broadcom. Prior to Broadcom, he was a Sr. Director of Engineering at Cisco leading Cat6K, Nexus 1K teams. He contributed to 8 generations of switching engines at Cisco resulting in 20+ patents and Cisco’s first Pioneer in Technology award. He holds an MS in Computer Science from IIT, Kanpur and a BS in Electronics and Communications Engineering from NIT, Warangal, India. His interests include switching architectures, hardware implementation of networking features, hardware abstraction and hardware software interfaces.
