SVCSI 2026 Summer Research Program

Goal: Team-based research projects advised by one faculty mentor from the SVCSI faculty members. Each team will have 2-3 members.

Meeting Time: We have group meetings and individual meetings. Each meeting will have 2-3 hours. Each faculty mentor will set up their group meeting hours separately depending on the group availability between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

History: Since 2020, SVCSI has hosted a Summer Research Camp every year, providing students with hands-on experience in cybersecurity research. More than 100 students have participated in the program, with several publishing their work in IEEE conferences, while all participants produce a technical report as their final outcome.

SVCSI takes pride in offering close, one-on-one mentorship between faculty and students, creating a unique and valuable experience that strengthens future academic and career opportunities in cybersecurity.
